Just going a bit off topic but at this point I figure Sekiro is most likely From Software´s last "Souls-like" game for this generation, what do you guys hope their next game in this style will be like?...would you like a "sci-fi Souls"?..something else entirely?

Personally, Dead Space and Dark Souls were my favorite new IPs last gen, and what I´d really, and I mean REALLY, want is a 'Souls-like' game set on a huge derelict and creepy spaceship, its interior all interconnected, the type of level design From excels at, and with a lot of the aesthetic inspired by HR Giger and the original Alien movie.

What I expect them to do is Bloodborne 2 in early 2020 but what I want them to do is a choice driven Lovecraftian game in the vane of the most recent failures like Call of Cathulu but and this being the majour differing aspect, from soft bringing their combat style and Rpg/class mechanics to gameify the whole experience past a certain point in the story as the pace ramps up. In my mind it would be more horror based than say Bloodborne, more true to Lovecrafts novels, set character focused maybe told through the lens of a narrator as in HPLs novels, less RPG and combat focused to begin with and finding a good balance between the two to continue with mid game. I would want FromSoft to keep their minimal narrative stylings but up some aspects such as cutscenes, NPC exposition and dialogue options. I would also like them to diverge from any specific Lovecraft story but have the basic themes.

I think with Deracine, they have proven to have this in them, there is a lot more I want to say on the matter but I'm in a rush. Might update later.

You think there´ll be a Bloodborne 2?...I really want it, but I remember a thread on Era about the Sekiro reveal at E3 last year and there was a verified insider who said that there were no plans for a BB sequel but didn´t rule out the possibility...that was June last year so who knows if things have changed or will change.
