Tbh before the Switch it was a couple of hours online at night on either PC or the PS4, but now with the ability to pick up the console and stick it in my pocket when I head out I can make use of time on public transport, work, breaktimes.... pretty much always have the machine with me, work rest and play, if I'm not using it it will likely be tucked somewhere nearby charging. Or if I am using it while out and away from charging I string my 10k MAH battery back up to it from my pocket.
That said... of the nearly 100 Switch titles I've bought at this point, there are almost half of them which have yet to be touched once, so for the 300 hours I lost to breath of the Wild, I've got things like Disgaea 5 sitting on less than an hour or two, when I find a game I enjoy I play the absolute heck out of it until I deem it to be... "complete" say with Splatoon, that didn't come from doing all of the single player content, that came from finishing Splatfests at the highest reward ranks, doing every mode until I had it down to the absolute best of my ability, but when I feel that point in a game I mark it as being "done" even the vid in my sig of doing that remix boss without damage, I still think that is something that there is not a whole lot of idiots out there (at least on youtube) who would go to the bother of it, but Rogue Legacy was another game which I loved to the point of wanting to play it as well as it can be played... and that games controls I would argue are one of the purest and damn near best of any game I've played in 30 years at this hobby.
TL:DR - I play good games as much as it takes to get their controls and gameplay perfected (as best I can) And the Switch makes that something I can do on the go at times when before I would have been tapping away on messenger.
