Ok, tell me how do you stick to facts when facts are UNKNOWN. We only know 1: Sony does not want cross play and 2: an account made on the PS4 will not work on Switch.

From there you smart pants automatically wrapped up the case, it's Sony's fault, Sony magically has access to the Switch and like a God has the power to block anything it wants to block there... And that's it, you didn't even consider that Sony doesn't have that kind of power. So yes without knowing all the details I SPECULATED, that's what I said, that's what I admitted to and you come up now acting as if speculating does not make sense and throwing wild accusations is the normal way to go?

A few of you are on a quest to do some hating and can't stand when people try to reason. If you have some kind of allergy to reason and logic deal with it and don't shove it up our throats.

And now on to the next one that doesn't get it cause one has to be insane to think people would eventually get it.

Impressively, you're the only one in this entire thread that still has no clue what the issue is. I'll do you a favor and spell it out for you, that way you won't have to speculate any longer.

It's not about cross-play.

It's not about on which service your account was created.

The issue is that any Fortnite account, even if it was created on PC or mobile, that logs in on a PS4 even once, is now unable to log in to Switch and Xbox forever, with no warning whatsoever. This means many gamers are effectively being locked out of their account.

I'm sure you can imagine the frustration you'd feel if this happened to you on a game you like to play often?

I totally got that clue a million years ago. The clue you don't seem to get no matter how many times this is said is that Sony cannot themselves block an account on Switch, when you log on Switch the thing that happens at that point CANNOT be physically done by Sony, it's either Nintendo but I don't think so based on the latest info or and this is much more likely EG that does the actual blocking. Not sure how you still don't get this but I'm done explaining it.
