Launch was 2.76 million

Forecast to add 15.00 million to that by March 31st

Currently at 14.86 million

https://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/en/finance/hard_soft/index.html

Basically 2.9 million more Nintendo Switch for January, February, and March

So 14.86 is SHIPPED and not SOLD, right?

I mean if it's "sold" then they would only have to sell 140.000 units to reach 15 million. So the real sales figures as of December 21 2017 is something around 12 millions units. Why can't figures be clear instead of confusing.

It's not confusing, it's very simple math. 2.76 of the 14.86M units sold before March 31, 2017, you just need to subtract those numbers to get the required amount to reach the 15M fiscal projection. The total will be 17.76M
