I think the W3 is a perfect example of a developer doing longer term support for the game that they had made it pretty stable and doesnt need the pro (i.e to make it better they would need to make an actual pro patch).

Unfortunately many games dont run as well on PS4 as people notice...

Bad framerate on PS4 is more a urban legend than a truth.

Urban legend = somebody in the internet for example said that games X runs badly and everyone think it runs badly even if they do not play the actual game and the game runs well in reality.

Sure, the lack of Pro patch for BB,W3 etc is biting in the butt badly.

As I said W3 Doesnt need a Boost patch because they supported the game extremely well, EG say exactly the same thing. I put in Fallout to install on my pro and that was upto Patch 12.... these games will be stable and in most cases the Pro wont make them any more stable (though in FO example they've made a Pro patch).

Many games have drops and the Pro boost mode will help with those, but if the PS4 version of the game was stable with very little drops.... i.e the W3, then its not going to make much difference.

Now if CD red went back and added a Pro Patch, it would probably have better AA, better draw distance and probably better fade in of objects, but they havent and wont.
