Microsoft easy. They continue shunning genre diversity, cancelling any IP that won't sell Halo or CoD numbers, won't take risks, and just keep pumping out the same 3 mainstream games every other month (Halo, Gears, Forza). Still trying to push digital only as well so they can take control of YOUR games ($250 collector editions with no physical game).

Basically they are all about the guaranteed big money AAA mainstream audience and are too stuck up and high and mighty to get behind any game that heaven forbid might only sell 200,000 units.

Nintendo and Sony are guilty as well.  All three of them are in it for money, they are businesses. But two of those three will also proudly stand behind and promote niche games.  More so that the Japanese pour a lot of love and heart into their games and aren't just only playing the safe bet only and milking the shooter market.  The that's the big difference to me.  The Last Guardian and Xenoblade Chronicles type games.  They know they won't sell a tenth of what a Halo or Gears would, but they not only allow them but are patient when they take long or overrun their budgets and don't just cancel everything to make another Halo remaster ala Fable and Scalebound.

At the end of the day we are in this for games.  They've all done shady shit, but one more than the others is so painfully obviously milking the mainstream and only producing the most popular big money AAA and doesn't actually give a shit about games.
