Alot of people(myself included) were having the sentiment that Sony had gotten lazy recently and were getting too comfortable. With Crash Bandicoot, TLOU2, WipeOut Omega Collection, Knack II, God of War 4, Ace Combat 7, Detroit become human, Days Gone, Yakuza 0 and 6, Death Stranding, Gravity Rush II all console/PS4 exclusive I'm feeling Sony has made up for their recent missteps with not allowing full mod support in Skyrim, stripping the PS4 Slim of the optical port, not including an UHD blu ray player in the Pro and not allowing the Pro to boost frame rates on non-Pro-patched titles with unlocked frame rates. I didn't really care for the mod-support but alot of Skyrim/Fallout 4 fans certainly were disappointed but I was perplexed by no UHD blu ray player and Sony restricting non-Pro patched games from benefiting from the boosted GPU/CPU. However with the recent PSX event I'm looking forward to their exclusive line up more than ever before in the 8th generation lifespan. To me it absolutely kills Microsoft's future line up and will give the Switch's first year line up some stiff competition.

Has Sony made up for their recent missteps in your opinion?
