You do realize there is a lot more to Sony than its gaming division correct? With the future being in HD television and Sony Tvs being some of the most popular HD tvs and with Blu Ray looking to win the format war, I'd say Sony has a great future ahead of it.

Of course Sony does, but this is a gaming forum. We are here to talk about games, and right now: Sony's future may not involve their gaming division. I'm hardly writing them off. I don't even think they will die before this generation ends, but Sony is a large corporation that exists to make a profit. If the gaming division continues to destroy those profits (for example debt outweighing revenue last quarter), you'd better believe that they will pull the plug on gaming forever. They aren't in gaming to serve you. They aren't a gaming company because they love video games. They are a gaming company because they want MONEY. That's why there is a Blu-Ray in the PS3. Not because it makes games better, because it serves their purposes.
