No. Overuse of antibiotics is dangerous; it breeds resistant super-bacteria like MRSA.

Too many idiots already take antibiotics for the common cold or the flu.

Holy fudge. How stupid are people? At least people should know that viral diseases can't be cured by antibiotics...

I mean, to use antibiotics for such an everyday disease is in itself idiotic, but do people not know that the common cold and the flu are caused by viruses so antibiotics will do jack shit to help them and will instead weaken their own immune system? SMFH

Yeah, too many people use antibiotics not only irresponsibly, but uselessly. People are so impatient that instead of just waiting a few days for their body to kill the cold/flu on its own, their first reaction is to pump themselves full of medication. I don't mean to sound like one of those hippie types, but we don't need medicine for every little thing. It will be a scary day indeed when bacteria like Tuberculosis and Golden Staph become totally immune to all antibiotics. Hell, they are already well on their way, with multi-resistant strains popping up all over the world.
