Oh sorry for the misunderstanding,i do think the hardware userbase mostly ties with games on the system or expected on it.

Of course library plays a major role, but it certainly would've helped if they didn't do things like have a gamepad with a screen that forced the price of the Wii U up by a lot :-/

 

I mean, the Wii U could probably have been nearly 100$ cheaper if it hadn't had the gamepad, and at that point I believe the Wii U could've sold okayish numbers, which in turn would've given a boost to Wii U software.
