It's simple to understand why it's so loved. This is pretty much Dragonball Z on drugs, except that being action/exposition oriented, it's a parody. Instead of always finding someone stronger than Saitama, we get villains that think they are stronger than Saitama, but nobody is. Honestly, the whole anime is just pointless! Of course Saitama will win. That's the main plot 
But people wanna see how strong he is, or if someone is actually stronger.
