My tastes changed with the times. In the 80's as a kid, I was a huge Nintendo fan. As a pre-teen and teenager in the early to mid 90's, I was a huge Sega fan. Then, as a young adult it was Sony... then got into the first Xbox. So I really changed along with the times. But after last generation, when the whole industry started to get too populated with me-too games, I felt myself slowly losing interest. There's some awesome indie games, but as creative as they are, they're just digital files. It seems like the most creative games aren't physical anymore and that's taking a huge chunk of my interest away.

Unless VR starts to take off, I'll probably only be a retro/Nintendo gamer going forward. The industry is just getting too same-ish for me.
