Furiosa is the lead. It shows this in the trailers, the posters and also in the movie, she is the last one to show on screen from a very high position. In the beginning she bosses Mad Max around and even calls him by Fool. In the beginning he shows up like a retard and the women diminish his role. The romantic relationship that shows up during the movie is completely out of context and with the male character that this happens to. The chastity belt is completely unnecessary. The old women distrust completely the two men that show up with the girls even though they are clearly helping them. So basically the only two decent men that show up are either bossed around or are romantic. The rest are vile and maniac but ALL women are decent and correct.

Yes, the movie is great. Yes, Furiosa is a great lead, even her name is great. She is strong, confident and does the impossible to save those women. Mad Max is along for the ride and does the right thing. But there was no need for feminist agenda, they even called the author of the Vagina Monologues. Women are strong when they are strong people. It is all about being human, not man or woman. There is no need to study up what strong women are, it should be natural to see when a PERSON is strong and worthy.

Lmao are you kidding me? The chastity belts were absolutely nessacary for this film. When you leave your house you tend to always lock your door, sometimes you'll lock all your belongings in a safe. People do this because they don't want other people to steal their personal property. For Immortan Joe those girls where his property and their singular purpose were to breed HIS babies. He wanted that shit locked down tight so no one else can take that or use his property. He wouldn't have brought an army if it wasn't the most important thing to him. I DARE you to walk into a brothel and abduct all the pimps hoes and see how fast he brings his gangs after you. I'm willing to bet you'd be a dead man!

Again it was still Mad Max and the film was still his. Max is always along for the ride and helping others! This is been the case since Road Warrior, and as I said earlier the difference is they share the vehicle together and Furiosa instigated the events and was directly responsible. It is easy to see how many people would see her as the main, but it is still Max. The man without a plan was the same one to resolve the issue and conflict through his BRILLIANT plan when they turned around. I won't say the rest as not everyone has seen the movie yet. He is the hero who overcame all the problems and challenges in the film and he was the main protagonist. Furiosa was still a main character but not on the same level despite being very heroic. As for a feminist agenda.... there wasn't one. Had this movie been released in 1993 as originally planned, we wouldn't be having this conversation because no one would care. The base plot of the movie remained the same over all these years.

LMAO I would love to see these guys who keep fabricating and instigating this whole feminist bullshit joke be sent a copy of the Metroid games. Tomb Raider would be good as well, and Blood Rayne would just chop their dicks off. The ironic thing is that most of these guys that drag the feminist argument around are actually virgins who are angry that women won't even look at them. It's so pathetic to the point I can't even keep a straight face every time it's brought up. I would love to see a comedy made about this shit as it is so laughable.
