I think we should all reside ourselves that Spider-Man will be portrayed by someone new, no going back.

On the origin issue, do it like "The Incredible Hulk" first ten minutes are edited to recap quickly origin story to get us to Spider-Man.

I always hated Maguire as Spider-Man or Peter Parker, he felt awkward and disconnected from the character, never a moment did I think I was watching Peter Parker or Spider-Man in those films. I found Garfield to be much better with having some actual charisma, but they both suffered from films that were not very good. The bridge scene, the dance scene, the crane scene were all dumb moments across the SM/ASM films.

I want Spider-Man to be fun, like Guardians of the Galaxy fun with one liners. Garfield had that at times, but then it would go too dumb or cheesy at times. Spider-Man should make me laugh and cheer, but also relate to him as not the greatest super hero, but someone you cheer for to overcome the odds in the sense of real danger.

Also, screw anyone besides Peter Parker being Spider-Man. I hated Morales and Octavius taking the mantle and some alternate world of O'Hara or Stacy being him is not what I want on the big screen.

I know little about actors ages 18-26 (roughly who I would guess they'd go with) but I just hope they get someone lean with presence and can convey Spidey's personality of nerdy, clever, funny, and yet deeply caring and human. Won't be easy, but I think Garfield with a better script would have been the formula.
