Opps, I meant to say FF 8 that is the one I despise the most.  Seven is pretty good but still somewhat overrated plus it didn't age well.

Yeah 8 is pretty bad. It has its moments, but it's pretty lacking in many departments. Mainly in having likeable characters. It was a pretty slip-shod title. I also disagree with the other guy though, that 10 was probably worse. Tidus was not likeable in any way. He was a total prat.

Also, I just want to make it clear that I don't think ff7 is likethebestgameever. I'm just saying it revolutionized gaming. But yes, it's still overrated and has not aged well.

I didn't like 10 that much either never beat it on the PS2 but might beat the remastered version on the PS3 eventually.  Never played 11.  Didn't like 12 that much either since it played too much like a MMORPG and 13 isn't that great either.  Skipped 14 like 11.  My expectations for 15 are pretty low.
