50K in UK and 50-70K in France most likely mean 200K in EU tops. With a conservative 500K in the US that makes 700K in the West.

To sell 2.8m FW it needs 2.8 -1.5 (Japan sales) = 1.3m in the West.

Where are the 600K left? Did half of westerners buy Smash digital? Is it sold out somewhere in the west?

The most likely explanation is that Nintendo considers Amazon warehouses as clients lol

Sales are beyond 1.5mil in japan (most likely over 1.6mil as Digital sales are extremely high, we know at least 56k sold in the first 2 days there) and France had a shipment of 300k. Tht alone disproves 2.8mil figure is shipped
