... it's called Hyrule Warriors, not Legend of Zelda. It doesn't have "the Zelda name".
Perhaps you meant "the Zelda IP"?
Anyway, the best-selling Musou game in Europe is Dynasty Warriors 4... and it sold 210k. Hyrule Warriors has sold more than 35% of that in two days. It was on PS2, so no detailed information for that game, but the best-selling Musou game of the last generation in Europe was One Piece: Pirate Musou for PS3, which opened with 36.5k and has sold 205k to date (released two years ago nearly to the day). That was on a system with an install base of 26.5 million in Europe. The Wii U has an install base in Europe of 1.7 million. That's right, it had a stronger first week by about 100% while being on a system with an install base just 7% of the size. And if it sells with the same proportion of first-week to lifetime, then Hyrule Warriors can expect somewhere around 415k, which would make it the best-selling Musou game in Europe ever, with the next nearest being just 50% of its sales.
You don't think it got a boost?
