Just a reminder to people who are going to shout "Sold less than 360 version of Bayonetta"...
Nintendo systems typically produce longer tails in game sales than other systems. It's too early to say anything about how it'll sell in any ongoing sense. At the very least, wait for week 2 - both versions of the first game dropped by about 80% in the second week, which would correspond to sales of about 8k for the Wii U version. My prediction is that it holds relatively steady - maybe 25k.
Anyway, my point is, first-week sales have never been a good predictor for Nintendo systems, beyond the obvious (if it sells 1 million in week 1, it's probably going to do pretty well).
