Maybe not.  The Sony fanbase is like a grizzly bear.  You can fight back but they will only attack more viciously.  If the Nintendo/Microsoft fans play dead, there's a chance the Sony fans will grow bored and go eat salmon from the river or steal honey from bees or something.

It's a new generation. The Sony Grizzlys have gotten their hands on the new poking stick technology. Playing dead only makes them poke the bodies.
