Today, Sony revealed in a Tweet that its exclusive shooter Killzone: Shadow Fall – available at launch – has sold 2.1 million copies to date. Since all PS4 games are available digitally, this likely puts retail and digital numbers together in one.
Shadow Fall’s numbers are impressive, and indicate a strong attach rate for the game that could be in the range of one game sold for every three or so consoles in the wild.
WOW, massively undertracked here. Amazing sales although I personally was disappointed in the game. Just shows making games at launch does not mean bad sales due to lower install base.
