No offense, but this an obvious Nintendo bias outlook. A simple look at PS4/ XBone game preorders in the US alone prove how wrong this statement is. Not only are there tons more games being released on the systems from here on out, they're also going to sell substantially better than the Wii-U. Wii-U is last gen hardware with nothing but poor third party ports and the same old same old Nintendo first party titles releasing for it. Third party support isn't an issue with the PS4/ XBone and that's going to become more and more apparent as the next gen consoles move on and leave the Wii-U behind.

Sure they'll have tons of games later on, but there is a drought

As for last gen hardware that is only half true as most of the WiiU hardware is a combination of different pieces and parts that are still not known for the most part

Third Parties will be very active on PS4/XBONE but that doesn't mean that WiiU will be left behind, if Nintendo manages to maintain a pace similar to that of 2014 through 2015/2016 the WiiU will probably lead but doing that is Nintendo's job not mine

I still call BS on the whole "Wii-U power is divided among it's parts, hence why it appears weak" argument. Even if that were the case, it wouldn't matter because the gamepad is such a vital piece to the system/ experience that taking it away to make a better looking game would literally take away the value of the console. Let's face it; that second is pretty much the one thing that the Wii-U has going for it. Regardless, even without it, the system would still be leaps and bounds behind PS4, hardware wise, and only somewhat better than PS360.

Problem with the third party and Nintendo is that third party has pretty already left Wii-U behind. EA was never really there, Activision is just kindof hovering around, Ubisoft is still giving strong support though nothing exclusive like they originally planned, and of course there's Capcom but how long is that company going to last? Nintendo fans pretty much blew Nintendo's chance at strong third party out of the water when 1) barely any of them actually bought the console and 2) out of the ones that did, an even smaller percentage actually bought any of the third party titles. I mean even BO Declassified sold better than BO2 on Wii-U, so you know somethings wrong there. Third party is already on board with the 8th gen consoles, and it's already paid off handsomely for them in the short run, let alone the long.

The Wii-U game drought came from Nintendo's loss of actual third party support. PS4/ XBone won't have that problem.
