I'm not gonna lie. I'm not hardcore enough to like digital devil saga I played it like 5 hours and then sold it, i liked nocturne though not as much as persona. I just didn't have as much fun playing those and felt too Grindy whereas in persona I could grind as I please to an extent, and even though I have to fight to get stronger you can choose the blob to attack. The dungeon design in persona is a lot worse than nocturne.
I loved persona 2, 3, and 4 though. The first one not that much. I haven't played SMTiv that much either.
