One of points is that most of Sony`s development studios have been around for years while the majority of Microsoft`s are just a few years old at best. My other point is that Sony has had longer to build up good development studios longer than Microsoft. It takes time for development studios to produce games and considering most of Microsoft`s were formed within the last few years it is no surprise that they had a larger amount of exclusives late in this generation. If you look at X360 up to 2007 there were more timed exclusives and third party exclusives overall during that time and also they closed major studios like FASA Studios and Ensemble Studios during that time as well. |
Most of the 1st party exclusives are going to the xbone, I'm pretty sure that's your answer.
