So unless you've been living in a cave somewhere you'd see that Nintendo announced the next generation of Pokemon for the 3DS; X and Y. However, will it be able to outsell the Vita's library in 2013?

Pokemon releases Worldwide in October, a first for the series. Pokemon Black 2/White 2 launched in October 2012, so it can be assumed being a simultaneous worldwide release and the first game in a new gen it will beat the sales for Black 2/White 2, as games in Japan don't have a good a legs as those in the West. This game sold 6.14mil last year, so predicting 7-8mil for this new title next year is not impossible.

Note that the ENTIRE Vita library sold:

PSV 9,598,138 (+2,157%) 10,023,368

last year. I'm not suggesting that Pokemon will outsell the ENTIRITY of the Vita's 2013 library, because that's highly unlikely. However, is it possible to outsell the Top 15 games for the Vita in 2013? Note I'm going to include games released last year, but NOT cumulative sales (i.e. all games for the Vita are currently at 0).

Can it do it?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.
