In this day and age software probably counts for more anyway (OS and its features, UI etc.).


It's not about a controller tha makes things more fun so much as it is about a controller that allows you to play your games more often. It's nice having a console that I can play games on even when the TV is being used for other purposes. It means I can have the console in the living room rather than in my bedroom where my ps4 will go. That alone is innovative. If anything else comes of the controller that is only icing on something that is already a cake.
