Burnout paradise blew me away that multiplayer was just 1 button away, no loading screens, immediately other people appear around you with dynamic objectives to go to.

Thats actually a really good point, I tried to convey that with the other topic I spoke of in Demon's Souls but maybe I should put that separately on the list.
