The time Sony actually spends $$$ on marketing......they do it on a game that is bombing on metacritic.

To be fair it only has 1 review on Metacritic and that review is rated low because the multiplayer has server issues (Could be due to a number of factors and will eventually be ironed out) and they don't like the fact that it doesn't have a fully fleshed out campaign. The user feedback is actually quite positive on this game.

Vita is in a damned if you do, damed if you don't predicament right now. If the game is designed like a console game, it gets hit for not being tailored to on the go, short burst gaming. If it is tailored to short burst, on the go gaming it gets blasted for not being designed like a console game. All this depends on the reviewer and what style of gaming they are expecting on the Vita.

They seem to love it over on GAF and Gamefaqs. The Operations mode has a leaderboard that keeps track of what you are doing so you can compare and compete with friends, but supposedly it hangs while updating due to possible server overload, which would also possibly explain the Pocketgamer reviewers issues of getting into multiplayer games. Remember too that they bought their own copy on launch day and almost all shooters, especially CoD titles have server issues during launch due to many people trying to get on at once. It's not like the 360 review where they get to test out everything in a controlled environment.

Give it a week or so to get ironed out. When it does work people say it feels like a faithful CoD multplayer experience.

Everyone also knows that if this was on iPhone it would get higher scores.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
