This generation, I have had an xbox 360, wii, and ps3. Currentley, I only own the ps3, which I play almost daily and love it.

Now, I'm no Nintendo h8errr. I loved the N64, Gamecube (mario sunshine one my favorite games of all time), Gameboys (addicted to old school pokemon), even the DS had a a lot of good/great games.

However, as a hardcore gamer, I feel that Nintendo just flat out does not care about me anymore. Nintendoland packed in with the Wii U? Really???? I'm sorry but I have no interest in that 5 year old rubbish, nor do I think playing with that oversized gamepad will be a fun experience. I think Nintendo is taking this "innovative" thing way too far when it comes to new consoles. Sure they have the "pro controller" (xbox 360 clone controller) with the Wii U but I doubt they will focus on making games specifically for it.

Maybe I'm just old school, but I like my RPG's, 1st/3rd person shooters, action, and open world games to play with a standard dualshock or 360 gamepad.

Is anyone in the same boat as me? It's really weird but it annoys me when I read some 20 year olds here on Vgchartz hyping themselves as "da hardcore" gamer when they can't wait for year old ports of Darksiders 2 or Mass Effect 3; or looking through Batman's Inventory with a giant controller that has a screen on it....
I'm sorry but it just bugs me.
