Why does it "need" to happen? Did you not take in anything I wrote? Do you disagree with it?

On top of what I've already written about software, Sony seems to be just about breaking even on each unit, or taking a small loss, why take an even bigger loss on each one when there's clearly a lot of software coming down the line that has big selling potential (for the software itself, that makes money, and the system)?
