Vita needs a price cut now!

I will copy and paste an older post I made:
It doesn't need a price cut to stay relevant if it gets software. A GTA and GT could help out a lot, AC and COD won't do wonders, but they'll give it a boost. The next Uncharted and obviously a Monster Hunter will also do well, but that's pretty far out. Any new IP could be a surpise hit, there are plenty of Sony's first party studios working on Vita games. Oh and Bioshock will release next year. It seems set for the next year and half, it's sales across that time period will make publishers decide whether or not to publish another Vita title. And if major publishers decide not to, a price cut will be needed. But I guess by the end of 2013 they'll be cutting the price no matter what.

A price-cut is needed regardless of how many games come.

Nope, software and bundles will take the average sales each week up. If they don't that is when a price cut is "needed." It doesn't need to match the 3DS in sales, it just needs to do double what it's doing now per week, which is more than doable with more, good software. It's had hardly anything come out for it the last month and it's sold 45k a week (or 2 weeks, however vgc does it), it's got a strong lineup this fall and more announcements are garunteed to come out of TGS and Gamescom so sales will easily double over fall, and get a small boost when some of the larger titles come out.
