If it's true that would be interesting. They will probably be similar to the oracle games in that they ran on the same engine, etc, all that was different was the maps and story. I play time but never go to seasons. The Oracle games were made by Capcom because Nintendo was helping them get through some serious money trouble. Nintendo kind of got the raw end of the deal from that. (They were suppose to receive several games from Capcom on the Gamecube only ended up getting only a few of them. And they where ported to the PS2 swiftly. Not that they didn't sell, if I remember correctly the Gamecube versions of RE4, Viewtiful Joe and PN04 sold the best. That is until the Wii version of RE:4.
