They are doing that. Did you not look at the launch titles? Lots of great software there. It needs more than just Uncharted though. It need great 3rd party support. That's something they can't control. 3rd parties tend to only be interested in a console once it has a large install base.

Both software and brand name sells consoles. Nintendo has both. Uncharted isn't a household name like Super Mario.
There are 3rd party titles like COD which are household names. These titles once release will definitely boost Vita sales. But this is an Activision title, so who knows how much effort they will put into it. Will they just port the DS version of COD or make a brand new experience?

Again, what? "Lots of great software there. It needs more than just Uncharted though." You are supposed to form an argument, not shoot it down with the next sentence you type.

Activision will most definitely just port the DS version of Call of Duty, because it's the only logical choice.

The reason I "shot it down" is because although Uncharted Golden Abyss is a great title, its not enough. Uncharted doesnt' exactly sell like hotcakes on PS3. I expect it to sell worse on Vita.

As to the great software, let me list if just for you.

-Uncharted Golden Abyss
-Wipeout 2048
-Gravity Daze
-Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
-Modnation Racers
-Fifa Soccer 12
-Little Deviants
-Michael Jackson: The Experience
-Dungeon Hunter Alliance
-BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend
-F1 2011
-Rayman Origins
-Escape Plan(PSN ONLY)
-Hot Shots: Golf World Invitational
-Hustle Kings
-Ben 10 Galactic Racing
-Plants Vs. Zombies
-Dynasty Warrios Next
-Shinobido 2
-Virtua Tennis 2
-Touch My Katamari

There you go. Fighting games, mini games, rpg games, adventure games, racing games, music games, platformers and sports games and even some PSN games. There's something there for EVERYONE and they are great games. Are you telling me these games suck?

If Activision wants the COD games to sell and consumers to be happy, they'll port the console version instead.
