I remember a VGC member that used to tell stories about how he would always suggest a used copy of any HD game so that Sony/MS didn't make any money off the sale but didn't do the same for Nintendo.  I'm sure seemingly small BS like that happens all the time and bias is everywhere in varying amounts.

angrypoolman was an attention addict, he would have said anything just to be in the spotlight for 15 minutes. It's very questionable how true all the things he ever said really are. Remember, he copy-pasted several of my threads and just changed their title.

On topic: You sir, wouldn't be any better as a salesman. A lady comes in a store to buy a video game console for her children and all you talk about is online functions, Blu-ray and Netflix. Has it ever crossed your mind that people who are looking to buy a video game system actually do so for video games? It's no wonder that she didn't buy anything, because both of you guys' advice was absolutely worthless.

Exactly most "core" gamers would be horrible sales people.

I like alot of the members of Vgchartz but I sure as hell wouldn't be hiring most of them in my stores.  Sure they may know everything about blu-ray, cell processors, and multiplayer online shooters.  But they couldn't tell you exactly how Nintendogs plays, which Beyblade games are the best, or name 5 Spongebob games off the top of their head.

In other words sales is much more about what the common consumer want and not which system is the "TEH MOZT HARDCORZ"
