Why would you argue in favor of the capitalists as compared to the lowly consumers. You sound like a guy who wants to pay $15 for a gallon of gas.?.

...seriously?

I'm for Activision selling a stupid map pack for whatever they want. $15 is an easily affordable luxary. Far more affordable than a tank of gas.

But maybe you were being sarcastic. I mean who would compare gaming crap and gas?

Easy now, remember no human needs gas to live so it is technoly in the same catagory as video games because we need neither for survival. And of course I was beiin some what sarcastic.

I think people do not want other companies to follow in Activision's footsteps and raise prices. Actiision makes themselves look arrogant by charging more than any other in the industry, I guess it is a luxary hen your sitting on top of the pile. Peace, bedtime.

Granted humans don't need gas per se. But we do rely on gas for transportation and it plays a vital role in our daily lives. Hypothetically, if all the gas disappeared you could imagine all the problems that would create. So no, I don't put gas and video games in the same category.

I don't care if other companies follow Activision's DLC foot steps because they still have to create a game that's great right out the box. If they don't you can expect sales to dwindle.

Activision looks arrogant? Don't you think they have the success to back up that arrogance? Those map packs sell extremely well.

That's cool about the gas thing as it is a big discussion of it's own.Just wanted a dramatic counter example. :p

I agree the are the top dogs so they can do what they want, I am saying power often creates arrogance. In this situation, it is by pricing your stuff higher than others. I really do not care as I shamefully bought the map pack, but the factthat Activision's actions at least convey arrogance.
