Just curious... I'm not saying Final Fantasy is better. It's just, it's extremely popular and then it has the potential to evolve into a FF9>FF3>FF13 etc kinda junk and there's FF ranking threads all the time. It could happen with like dragon quest too. I thought about about making it RPG's in General. But maybe it made the topic too broad.
And I can't really constitute a way of what is a JRPG... so if you can argue it, like say Demon soul's is a Japanese RPG. Or Anachronox (A game made by ion storm) is a JRPG because it has a battlesystem that's typically in JRPG's.
Also explain why if want, why you like it. If someone gives me a good idea to change it I will edit this post.

3. Edit: Pokemon Crystal (Amazing game, it's pokemon. I forgot about this somehow)
2. The World Ends With You (Stylistic, the gameplay was awesome, story was enjoyably odd as well... it started out a bit too emo for me though)
1. Dragon Quest V (I haven't played the original, I've just played the fanpatched PS2 version and the DS version) (The Story is IMO incredibly unique and cute O_o, and in the remake it looks gorgeous with awesome awesome characters, and funny funny dialogue).
I don't make many threads :P hopefully this works.
I expect to see... Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, EarthBound... and others a lot :P
