They were saying if you have a projector or a really large tv, because the wire on the camera is short it might be difficult to place the camera in a place that's A: Central to the screen B: at the same time within reach of the PS3 because not everyone has their ps3 right next to screen.

Also the camera wire is too fat and can sometimes move the camera out of place when you finally get it into a perfect position, same thing I've experience time after time.

Ah, I see, all of that is in fact problematic. Luckily I have a center speaker right below the middle of the screen. I used double face tape to fix the camera. I also had to  purchase a 15 feet extension USB cable.
