I'm talking about the new remake of OoT. I've been around to numerous fansites and what do I see? People praising this game. Praising this re-release of a game we all played almost 15 years ago. It's fairly graphically updated sure, but since when did we all turn into graphics whores?

Nintendo knows they can make huge cash cow ports instead of putting real innovation and effort towards making a new game. They know it. It's true, and it's all because of all the fanboys' nostalgia for their beloved games.

How many ports of OoT have there been already? Why do some of you back up this game, back up Nintendo's laziness, when we could be getting new adventures and new gameplay from Nintendo?

Nostalgia. Nostalgia. Nostalgia. Go around to any site and you'll see countless fanboys creaming their pants over this game due to nostalgia. Nintendo knows this, and that's why Nintendo can be lazy and give us a coughed up 15 year old game.

I will never support this type of developer behavior.

How does everyone else here at VGC feel about this kind of developer behavior? I know there are at least a few fans on here who are going crazy with anticipation over this remake of OoT, and I want to ask you, why should we be excited for this? If you're  fan of OoT, haven't you played the game countless times already? Do you really want the same adventure, same gameplay that we have already been playing all these years? All because of slightly upgraded graphics? What else is there that I'm missing?

All I'm doing now is praying this isn't cutting at all into dev time for a real 3DS Zelda game - but I'm fairly sure it is. If someone can show me otherwise I would greatly appreciate it.
