Been playing games on my Nokia for ages. So, let's put Nokia there too shall we?

sure for the Ngage (or whatever the name was).

For cell phone tetris or snake no... that would be akin to counting every calculator.

Smartphone have major software support that goes beyond regular flash games and most especially the Iphone, they thus deserve a spot. (which they have on the site with a tag... but like PC they are not colored).

Actually, i'd be much more interested in having PC sales estimates for a change... It's not like many stores sell PC games and no console games anymore, so I don't see how hard this could be when there is already a network in place... (heck put a big "these are estimates" sticker on that data for all I care... as long as it's there...)

Actually, the downloadable games for mobile phones existed before N-Gage. And, they weren't just limited to Nokias.

For PC games, you need to take into consideration that with services such as Steam, the PC game sales are moving to digital form and people who actually want to own their games, are moving to consoles. Even if it would make sense to track them today, it may not make sense to track them tomorrow. Then again, if i'm not mistaken, PC game sales data generally lacks reliable sources to benchmark the data with. And even when a publisher is giving out sales data for PC games, they include data for shipments to retail and number of downloads made.

Though, i'm a little pissed about the lacking sales data of Zeebo and the new Megadrive.

@Squilliam: Well, not quite yet. On PC the downloads are much bigger than on consoles, but on consoles i doubt it will be happening in ages.

Why track iPhone hardware, when its sales are limited to certain carriers, which likely aren't interested in giving out the information - and i doubt they are even allowed to do so.

Ei Kiinasti.

Eikä Japanisti.

Vaan pannaan jalalla koreasti.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.
