Those talking about advertising or technical capabilities of the arc are, imo, missing the point. The arc currently has no games that will convince large numbers of people to buy it, and no amount of advertising will convince people to buy hardware unless they want to play the games on it. RE5 is the only big game that Arc has announced so far, and motion ports of last gen controlled games don't really showcase the difference motion controls can make.

We know about more games for Arc than for Natal, but that doesn't mean it will fail. Sony are showing it off tomorrow, with some games presumably. Let's wait until we see that, shall we?

Sony announced their arc launch lineup a long time ago. MS announced that they will announce the natal launch lineup at E3. That isn't to say that Sony can't add extra to their launch lineup, or even announce games for after the launch period.

But I agree that this is a silly time to be discussing this, obviously if Sony announce a whole bunch of 'must have' games at GDC or E3 or whenever for the arc then everything changes

Agreed. And since that lineup was announced, the Arc was pushed back from spring to fall, so I can easily see a lot being added to it, since 3rd parties will have longer to get something good on it.
