This came up as a result of a discussion about the latest Nintendo podcast over at IGN. I like the idea of getting a few of us together and shooting the breeze for an hour or so every week or two, then putting it up for the forum to listen to.

The way this would work is that the podcast crew would be made up of a few of the forum's more respectable members - if enough people wanted to participate, I might set up a rotation, maybe even a console-based one - and we'd basically talk about a series of topics for a while. Most probably games we're playing, or the current events of the week in gaming news. We could arrange events where the podcast members read and respond to forum posts on the podcast itself, or where we all get together and play the same game for a while and talk about the game. There's a lot o  possibilities here.

We've got some really cool members. I think it could work. More, it's something I want to try out. If it gets popular, maybe we could see about expanding it somehow.

This is just a topic to express whether or not you'd be interesting in listening to the podcast, but the outcome of this vot won't determine whether or not I go through with the idea. I just want to see if there would be enough people interested in listening to justify doing iit. If there are, I'll make a topic for applications to become part of the podcast crew.

This in itself isn't a sign-up topic, but if you're interested in being on the podcast, mention that fact and I'll take it into account. Potential volunteers carry a lot more weight, in this case, because they may bring in their own listeners.

So.

Would anyone like an Unofficial VGChartz Forum Member Podcast? If so, what do you want it to be like?

EDIT: This podcast would be audio-only, because making a video podcast where everybody lives hudnreds of miles away from each other is SLIGHTLY unfeasible.
