Not according to the Bioware forums... cough. Aparently they get crawling framerates in some battles especially when they try to use blizzards and that 4th level fire spell. Aparently even though the game looks better, it does not play as well. Pick your poison. Based on my years of experience in gaming, gameplay > graphics but some would disagree.

Heh, uncompressed textures like bmps or raws? I am pretty sure that no game uses uncompressed textures. That would be maybe most stupid thing I can think of when storaging textures. Uncompressed textures would clog up crappy download speed of blu-ray in no time.
