I'm impressed with Alan wake because we actually saw gameplay for the first time, ever.

Looks fantastic, and may be a fantastic horror game. Hopefully it ships in Q1 2010 and is what Remedy claims it'll be.

And like ShadowBlind said, everyone here forgets (typical of people that trash certain games) that the game is sandbox, and is only showing one section of the game off. Do you think that showing off a slow, scary scene that takes 5 minutes to build up is going to be the best banner moment for E3? No. It wouldn't. E3 is about being fast-paced, and they only have so much time to show their 'best'. What I saw of Alan Wake looked good. Of course, if that's all the game was, there'd be a problem, as it would be a Resident Evil clone. However, I have faith that Remedy is going to make it very scary, and tense. All we've seen with the overview of how it works points in that direction, too.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
