Sound like it was a PITA in the old days. Can't say I've experienced anything like that.

Yes I can seriously compare bugs on PC/console but only from personal experience. I watch my buddy try to play TF2 on the 360 every couple weeks, I watched him waste £40 on Supreme Commander and I hear it's still unplayable.

The old days?  One of the last PC games I bought was Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer in October 2007.  I expected to have no problems with it because Neverwinter Nights 2 gave me very few problems.  Imagine my surprise when the first time I tried to play it I couldn't because the text wasn't showing up in any of the character dialog boxes.  I went to the game's forums only to find it was a well known bug but they had no patch for it at the time.  How is it possible to have a game breaking bug that shows up within the first few seconds of the game that a significant amount of people experienced?

Also you can point out one or two 360 games but at the end of the day it's still nothing compared to the PC side of gaming.  Take Bioshock and Call of Duty 4 for example, if you go to their respective forums or simply use Google you'll see that some people had problems with the PC versions of those games.  In fact almost every PC game I type in I can find threads where people had problems with them which is not the case for the majority of 360 games.  To put things into perspective I can remember when there was a huge uproar over the 360 version of Bully and Rockstar taking a lot of heat over it yet it's the same kind of situation can be found for many PC games.
