Suddenly the reality sinks in that putting Blu-Ray in the PS3 wasn't as clever a manuver as some had hoped for, either for the PS3 game console or the fledgling Blu-Ray format. It's a lose lose.
In the end, it seems neither format is going to win this war, at least not for another half a decade. All this time Sony hopefuls had danced gleefully around the fire waiting to serve up the spoils of the felled HD-DVD format marching around what ever internet statistic they could dig up to feed their fevered ambitions, but what really has happened is what the realists knew would occur all along, it would end in an uneventful and luke warm stailmate.
