The 360 did 170K in July, so it would need an 85% increase to reach 300K.
According to the data for sales ending August 18th, the 360 saw a 13% increase over the previous week for a total of 59K, and that's with the price drop and Madden. That just goes to show that 1) Madden doesn't move systems, it sells to the userbase(and its sales are actually down from Madden 07 a year ago), and 2) the effect of the price drop wasn't that significant.
200K is doable, maybe even 230K, but 300K is really stretching it.
