I would think a mascot game would sell huge (Halo above 8mil and Mario Galaxy above 7mil). Those are long term sales so we will need to wait for LBP but i see LBP being overshadowed by many games this holiday.

Also this thread in a way proves LBP was thought to have a huge opening or there would be no need for this. Where there's smoke, there's fire.

 

 How many quotes do people need to show other people before they get it through their thick skulls no one expected HUGE sales?

90% of people expected around what it was. Some overestimated some under estimated some where right on.

5% Expected HUGE SALES! like crazymann. and megaman.... and i suggest you read their post history and considering their credibility before quoting their persictions.

5% severly underestimated it. We have seen people thinking 300k, 600k, and under 500k and the kicker their was those were LIFE TIME EXPECTATIONS! In the japan perdiction thread a bunch of people said under 20k a bunch said over 100k... so what?
