I guess this could be a new trend in splatfest.

I kind of like the format.  i wonder if/when they will make the Shifty Station stages available for regular play.

Maybe they can add it as a 3rd map in the rotation. But it may be hard to put it on ranked mode since they need to make changes.

Copy/pasting my post from the Splatoon 1 or 2? thread...

This guy compares the two games' amount of input lag:

Basically Splatoon 2 has twice the input lag of Splatoon 1 (1/10th of a second instead of 1/20th) so it feels less responsive.

The ink looking nicer and shinier is the reason for it?

Pocky Lover Boy!

LOL, the ink does look good though

Well after 3 weekends in a row the turtle who was named for Donato di Niccolò di Betto Bardi or Donatello has emerged as having the strongest fans (or a combination of fans and people that didn't give a crap or like the color purple).

Oddly enough in all three rounds the winning team was in the minority as each of the popular picks lost their respective rounds.

Congrats to those that Chose team Donnie.

By the way, hi.

Hello Hello

Fun matches, The_Yoda and Mr.GameCrazy! And VGPolyglot for those matches earlier in the day (sorry I was bringing along tough opponents).

Wahoo World is a great addition to the game.

The new Roller is fucking OP. Needs to nerf ASAP!

(I couldn't find an official Splatoon 1 thread so I'll post here)

Ever wondered if all the stages are connected Super Mario Sunshine-style? Well in the first game, it seems like they are!

Our friends over at SquidBoards did some major sleuthing and came up with some plausible world maps based on landmarks visible from multiplayer:

Some of the distant landmarks can be better seen from Sc0tline's Flying Inkling series:

That's pretty cool.  Wish I was already home so i could play ...
