Forums - Sales Discussion - What is Others in European Yearly Sales?

What countries are we talking about here, is it:

Belgium (10M), Netherlands(16M), Austria(8M), Switzerland(8M), Portugal(10M), Ireland (4M) and others (Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia)?

The chart says, there have been soled about the same ammount as in Scandinavia. But there are a lot more people living in does countries (52+M), than in Scandinavia (25M).

What is the story here?  (I was looking at the 360 sale numbers)

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. Population does not convert directly into sales numbers. Germany has 30 million more than the UK but generally half the overall numbers. The 360 is actually hurt the most due to a lot of restrictions from the government on what games ever see the light of day there.

To cash in my CC rewards points for $300 in Circuit City gift cards to purchase a 360 or not: That is the question.

The country by country figures are mostly estimated. The European total is pretty correct though.

Hardcore gaming is a bubble economy blown up by Microsoft's $7 $6 billion losses.

I thought others included all other countries, so Asia, Middle East, South America, Australia, etc.

Help! I'm stuck in a forum signature!

Aside from the European part of others, it's primarily countries like Austrailia, eastern Europe, Middle east, Austrailia, China, SK, Taiwan, HK, ect, ect.

The others in others might account for 20% of the numbers, if that.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
