I used to say no to this, but I'm not sure anymore. I've gotten to the point where I'd rather relax on a couch looking at a large tv than looking at a monitor in a chair. My current setup has an HDMI cable connecting my Samsung smart TV to my desktop to act as a second monitor. But I've been having issues:

-Games don't seem to want to function in Windows mode blown up on the TV. When I run in normal mode I can't drag it to the TV. In Windows mode I can but as soon as I blow it up the TV stops it's connection to the PC until I close the game down.
-Wireless HDMI is laggy and I hate it.
-Steam Link is laggy and I hate it.
-With a wired connection Some weird horizontal blur line is visible constantly and anytime I'm in intense action scenes it blacks out every ten seconds or so randomly.
-Changing the sound settings Everytime I change what I'm on is annoying.
-I can't get the games to go to 4k even though my TV is, because my monitor is 1920x1200.

Because of all this I may find it more convenient to simply have a console next gen.
