hmm.. intersting..

Sorry guys I was testing something out.. I think I got my results.

Anyhow, I believe that the wii has become very popular, and nevertheless even if it was ps3 at 15M the forums would be the same. So use this thread to discuss website manners about the wii and what not.

Completely untrue.  If the Wii had flopped it would have been countless threads about how it was a gay or kiddy system and how much it sucked and how nintendo was going to have to leave the console business and about how much Nintendo sucks and this would of only happened because of the success of the Wii at the E3 before launch.

If the Wii hadn't taken that E3 by storm almost no one woudl be talking about the Wii except the 4 or 5 million who bought it and there would be little to no threads about it. The 360 and PS3 would be dominating the threads and all we woudl see woudl be comparison shots for cross platform games and arguments about game X being Xclusive to Y console(can't say X console LOL). Meanwhile the Wii would have had less press than the GC and the only thing that would cause headlines would be somethign like Nintendo is goign third party.

However in the past year the Wii has passed the XBOX 360 and is way ahead of the other consoles. Mii's have become a cultural Icon for many  that use them in avatars and even fliers for bands in the cities. The Wii has opened new markets and even permiated into Oprah and Dr Phil territory and away from the MTVs. The Wii has had the release of 2 big profile games and a third being released soon and Wii sports is the top selling game in Japan.

Seriously that is the reason for the disparity in posts here even in the rest of the hardcore internet that represents a larger proportion of PS3/360 fans the Wii has permeated its way into a large number of posts and the number of negative posts have become fewer and fewer while the same time being pushed forth by hardened PS3/360 fanboys. ironically increasing its forum presence.
